Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he shall not depart from it.” We believe that presenting God’s Word to children in a way that is engaging, interesting and fun, yet leads them to personal relationship with Jesus Christ is a vital role for any children's ministry. We encourage children to be involved in ministry; to serve, to pray, to worship, to support missions and to make their faith central to their lives. We also believe that children’s ministries are a resource to parents, assisting them in raising godly children by providing support, encouragement and guidance in the families efforts to ensure the spiritual development of their kids.
We at First Assembly believe the safety of children is essential to all children’s ministries. All adults who work with children are carefully screened and must pass strict requirements including references, interviews and background checks. This process ensures that only individuals with upright moral and spiritual ethics are working with your children.
Nursery (birth-24 months)
At First Assembly of God we treasure our babies and toddlers! We strive to provide a safe, secure and caring environment for your children. Age appropriate activities are provided for the children during Sunday services, Sunday school and Wednesday evening adult Bible sutdies. Parents may attend church activities with the confidence that their little ones are being well cared for and loved. If a child has a problem needing parental involvement parents are notified immediately.
