Connect with First Assembly
First Assembly of God is a community of believers dedicated to help one another grow in full devotion to Jesus Christ. Our Sunday meetings take place at 10:15 AM & 6:00 PM. Each week we make it a point to communicate biblical, relevant and life-changing messages in fresh and exciting ways. Worship for these services are contemporary and lively. We believe a friendly and informal atmosphere promotes an authentic approach to discovering spiritual direction and receiving strength and encouragement to fulfill God's plan for your life.
We are a Pentecostal, Evangelical church that is committed to the Lordship of Christ. God's Word is His written revelation to us, and therefore, His Word is our all-sufficient rule of faith and conduct. We believe that salvation is through Christ alone, that the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today, that God still heals, and that Jesus Christ is coming back again.
We Believe:
- The Bible is the inspired Word of God
- The One True God as revealed in the three persons of the triune godhead -Father, Son, and Spirit
- The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ
- Man by transgression fell
- The salvation of mankind through faith in Jesus Christ
- The Ordinances of the Church: Baptism in water; Holy Communion
- The Baptism in the Holy Spirit
- Speaking in tongues as the initial physical evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit
- The sanctification of the believer - immediate and progressive
- The Church and its Mission - to exalt God, to edify the believer, to evangelize the world
- The Ministry
- Divine Healing
- The Blessed Hope - The Rapture of the Church
- The Millennial Reign of Christ
- The Final Judgment
- The New Heavens and the New Earth
