Missions is a critical part of the church's purpose in "making disciples of all
nations" (Matthew 28:19-20).
Elementary Age Minsitries
We
believe that presenting God’s word to children in a way that is engaging,
interesting and fun, but yet leads them to personal relationship with Jesus
Christ is a vital role for any children's ministry.
We encourage children to be involved in ministry; to serve, to pray, to
worship, to support missions and to make their faith central to their lives.
We also believe that children’s ministries are a re a resource to
parents, assisting them in raising godly children by providing support,
encouragement and guidance in the families efforts to ensure the spiritual
development of their kids.
Safety First at Manhattan First
We at First Assembly of God believe the safety of children is essential to all children’s ministries. All adults who work with children are carefully screened and must pass strict requirements including references, interviews and background checks. Typical Ministry Schedule
- Sunday School - Every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. (age-specific classes)
- His Kids Church - Every Sunday at 10:15 a.m.
- LIVE Night Super Sunday - Scheduled throughout the year (see calendar for current schedule)
- Royal Rangers for boys - Every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
- MPact Girls Ministry - Every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
- Junior Bible Quiz - Begins this Summer
